Shipping and Returns

SHIPPING

Orders will be shipped within 1-3 business days (unless otherwise advised) to the shipping address provided upon checkout.  

We are currently shipping to the following countries;

  • Australia

If your country is not listed above please email us at info@canberraday.com for a shipping quote.

Please note that we will not be responsible for any custom, taxes or duty charges incurred by the shipping of our products.

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you need to return an item, you will be responsible for covering your own shipping costs.  If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If we are required to re-deliver a parcel because the address you provided with your order was incorrect, you may be asked to pay for the shipping costs incurred.

 

RETURNS/EXCHANGES

You have 30 days to return an item from the date you received it.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. 

  • Your item must be in the original packaging.
  • Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

For health and safety we cannot resell an item which has been in contact with skin or used by any person. Refunds need to be made on the following grounds:

  • A faulty product which does not meet the standards of expectations in a reasonable use of the product and has not been caused by the handling and use of the product under the recommended usage as provided on the packaging.
  • A major difference in the product which could be different from the description and information provided during the sale process which significantly impacts the reasonable use of the product.

Change of mind and product exchanges are accepted under certain conditions, provided the consumer is aware of their responsibilities under the Australian Consumer Laws (2001) for product exchanges. In some situations, gifts and third parties may request an exchange of product in which case we will assess each request on an individual basis.

  • The customer is liable for the costs of shipping items
  • The product has not been used by any person
  • Your item must be in the original packaging
  • Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase

 

REFUNDS

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund and inspect the item. Sale items will not be refunded.

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund using the original method of payment. You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

If a refund is not received, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially processed.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is processed.

GIFTS, GIFT VOUCHERS, CERTIFICATES, STORE CREDITS AND DISCOUNT CODES

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return once the returned item is received.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

If the item was purchased using a gift voucher, certificate or store credit, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return once the returned item is received.

If you item was purchased using a discount code, you’ll receive a refund of exchange only to the value of the amount that was paid at the time of purchase, not for the full value of the product.
